The Seattle Melody Kick (SMK) music video series was founded in 2017 to showcase select artists. The SMK vision: to document and share music performances while showing off the unique beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
The SMK team films performances at handpicked locations to capture the artist and the beauty the Pacific Northwest. Artists are asked to perform three songs total, which is referred to as a session. The SMK team releases one session at a time and each new session is added to our existing gallery.

NAOMI WACHIRA: "I AM BECAUSE YOU ARE" IS OUT NOW!!

Performance by Naomi Wachira Cinematography & Video Editing by Henry Slater Cinematography by Dakota Huntley Cinematography by Seanu Audio Engineering by Tye Hastings Produced by Seanu
Seattle Melody Kick Productions presents Naomi Wachira performing at Bop Street Records. Few artists can take control of a room like Naomi Wachira. Having grown up in Kenya, and later moving to the States, Wachira shines her worldly perspective through contemporary folk music. Her poignant songwriting paired with dynamic vocal abilities have established Wachira as an outstanding member of the PNW music scene – but her reach extends far beyond Seattle. Wachira toured her latest album, “Song of Lament” (2017), internationally for fans across continents and cultures. We were thrilled to film this performance with the ceiling-high Bop Street Records shelves as a backdrop. With over 500,000 items in stock, Bop Street was named one of the top five record stores in America by the Wall Street Journal and is frequently visited by world-renowned musicians.
